Colorado Music Buzz Magazine is a monthly publication dedicated to promoting the diversity and growth of all aspects of the local music scene and beyond. We offer live and recorded music reviews, artist profiles, music industry columns, anecdotal humor, feature stories, musicians’ columns, and a monthly cover/center spread on a different local music subject each month, with an emphasis on positive coverage across as many genres and musical styles as possible.
• Diversity: genres covered include Acoustic/Folk, Alternative-Indie, Classical/Opera, Country & Bluegrass, Electronica/DJs, Film Scores, Hip Hop/Rap, Jazz & Blues, Pop/Rock, R&B, World music, and more. We support independent music as well as emerging and established artists.
• Local Support: approximately 90% of CMB’s coverage features Colorado artists, with the remaining 10%+ covering an eclectic mix of unique touring acts making a difference with their music (many of which have a Colorado connection, having lived, recorded, or studied music here at one time). CMB also provides musician resources in the form of free online classifieds/calendar listings, connections to promotional tools, and discounted ad rates for local artists and arts organizations.
• Circulation: CMB reaches an all-ages mix of over 50,000 musicians, fans, music aficionados, and those new to discovering their local music scene. 20,000 copies are circulated each month via subscription by mail and distribution to over 550 locations throughout greater Denver, Boulder, Lyons, Longmont, Colorado Springs, Fort Collins, Aurora, Evergreen, Idaho Springs, Loveland, Pueblo, Franktown, and Castle Rock.
• Community: Colorado Music Buzz LLC is actively engaged in community and charity work; requests for volunteers, sponsorship, partnerships/collaborations, or event coverage may be sent to the publishing team in writing or via email.

No band mailing list emails, please – contact us personally to request coverage. We do not currently publish a print calendar; however, you may sign up for a free artist account on the CMB website to post shows online.

Due to our publication’s community focus, article content and advertisements containing nudity, drug references, profane words/visuals, or sexually exploitative material will not be accepted.
