Hi everyone, my name is Ryan. In the past few years, probably starting when I was fourteen years old, I have been introduced to local music in the area. It has changed my life immensly. I run New England Local Music which is a local music fansite where I get word out about my favorite bands that deserve more attention. Those bands include The Curtain Society, The Deadites - which I also run a fan site for
( http://www.freewebs.com/dstsfansite ) - The Bee's Knees, Huck, Mossberg, and of course, COLORBLIND.
Finally I have gotten around to starting up a Colorblind fansite. They are the band that I think needs more attention than they get, and not to mention one of my favorite bands. I know that they have musically affected others who have contacted me asking about them - "Do they have a website?" "Where can I buy their cd?" and most of all "When are they playing?".
I started this fansite for Colorblind and for all of you, who kept worrying that you weren't going to hear about their next show. Here is a place where you can send me something you wrote about the band, and I will put it up on the blog. This is a place where you can learn all about the band, their cd's, if they have merch, who they are, and when they are playing.
Keep yourself tuned in with this site because I am going to keep all the news about the band coming. They are currently making a new album and maybe you'll even get a sneak preview. Another big bonus for those of you who pay attention, is that I have Jon Kervin and Jay Clermont from Colorblind to frequently send me news, and interact with the site. This is also a place for them to post blogs and fill you in on what's happening with the band and the news.
I hope you all support this page because it's important that this band gets heard. Interact with us, ask us questions, send us requests, this is a FANSITE. It's a place for you too.
Stay tuned in,
- Ryan.
p.s. Jon left a ntoe on the blog to give you a little heads up on what to expect. Check it out.
p.p.s. Jon Kervin also has a solo project called Sunform. Check it out.
