Barry Manilow on Michael Jackson's Death: 'It Doesn't Seem Possible'Singer/songwriter Barry Manilow has released a statement to ET, expressing his shock and grief over the death of pop icon Michael Jackson.
The statement reads:
"It doesn't seem possible. How could Michael Jackson not be with us? This experience is surreal. He was one of the most gifted and original talents the world has ever known. He inspired a generation of young people and amazed the rest of the world. There has never been anyone like him. There will never be another Michael Jackson. I can't wrap my mind around this terrible news."

Dear Friends
To celebrate the BMIFC Convention during the weekend of May 22-24, and as a personal thank-you from me to you, I've put together a segment of songs from my beloved "Here At The Mayflower" album that I'll be performing during those shows.
This segment will include songs we've never done. I hope everyone that has supported the "Mayflower" CD makes sure that they're at the Hilton for that weekend. I think it will be a very exciting and special group of shows.
