Hi music has been described as “Good rootsy energy and plenty of attack. Attractive hoarse vocals full of personality and feeling” by Bruce Iglauer. Founder of Alligator Records Chicago Ill.
Hi music has been played on radio stations around the world. Col Ray’s cover of Tiger Man (Rufus Thomas) went to # 4 on the pop charts in Denmark in 2002 from being played on “It’s Roots Time” out of Belgium.

Oops, that other comment was supposed to be from ME. Sometimes I forget who I am and who I am meant to be, but you already know that. Keep the music coming and keep making me confused!!!!! :)
Where you expecting the usual post-gig comment from me? Sorry, I was a bit slow. Fantastic as usual, I had a great time, is so good to have some music to dance to again. Keep those creative juices flowing. :)
Hey Col, good catchin up at the servo the other night with simmsy - we should write a weekly comumn with the topics we covered. Hope you and ROya can make it on the 19th Clint
If you don't listen to me - I'll cut your ears with this stick next time - coz my baby canines are getting ready to fall out. Besides, the stick is blunt it'll hurt more. So next time you hear me at the door, whimpering to ask you to let me in out of the cold - you'll do it won't ya!
Hi there, Just wanted to wish you a happy birthday, and I hope all is well with you. Bad luck if you need any hemming done now though ;) Best wishes for the day and rest of the year. Hoochie Kate
Thanks for supporting Bidgee Blues Club. You are a very important part of the local Blues scene and we really do appreciate all you have done. Thank You :)
Ok so I got my lemon tree. See that's what happens when you go to CHURCH?? Now if someone mentioned this to me earlier on in life I'd go freakishly pious on your asse too. No, you may not pee on the lemon tree! I'll let the future dogs do that. You'll scare the school kids! Publically I forgot to say Happy New Year Baby Mo'dig - and Elliot's ethics SUCKS!
Wishing you and Roya a Merry Christmas and a great New Year. I hope all your dreams for the future will be fulfilled. Take care and I look forward to seeing you somewhere in the not too distant future. lotsa love :)
