Music has been good to me. It has taken me to fantastic places, filled my life with beautiful people and been kind enough to pay my rent and gas bills. Currently, I divide my time working towards a Ph.D. in ethnomusicology at the University of Pittsburgh and playing music.

Seriendipitty Entertainment Presents "Gene Stovall Live at the Shadow Lounge 3.2" on Friday, February 20, 2009. This will be Seriendipitty's final event and Stovall's last concert at Shadow Lounge as a Pittsburgh resident. DJ's SMI, Selecta, Huggy, and Phil Da Bass will spin handpicked party favorites before and after the concert, in honor of Stovall's birthday. Doors open at 9pm. Stovall performs from 10pm to 11:30pm.
