Comedy - Every 3rd friday night is comedy night in the theater. Be prepared to laugh though.
Burlesque - the theater is know for its long standing burlesque shows featuring the Atomic Bombshells and other talented burlesque groups
DJs - sit back, relax and let them spin and mix you some music that will force your body to dance.

Every Thursday night is the Women In Arts & Music showcase presented by NightPiper Productions in the lounge. Its an ongoing event that includes weekly Featured Performers and Artists, and although booked in advance there is always room for a female performer or two to hop in open-mic style. So stop by to hear developing artists or to play a tune for us. :)

About me:
The Columbia City Theater, once known as the "Lish House" has a historic background throughout the last several decades. In the 60's, it was a sonic playground for Jimi Hendrix. In the 70's it housed an underground disco and hosted some of the most hardcore punk bands in the 80's. And in the 90's it was revered as "the place" for electronica music in Seattle. Take one look at the theater and you'll see why it's such a great place for live shows or any other event.
In addition to a classic show stage with an amazing lighting rig avilable, the Columbia City Theater offers a a full state-of-the-art recording studio, a video production facility, a VIP mezzanine, a catwalk and of course full bar. We host a variety of events from burlesque (the Atomic Bombshells are regulars), live music, comedy to private parties and community meetings.
With our top of the line audio and video recording equipment, we can record your event or show and provide high quality audio/video mixes to you. Post-production services enable us to make sure your event is captured flawlessly.
