About me:

2009 will mark the Columbus Lions third season and second straight as a member of the Southern Division in the American Indoor Football Association. The Lions reached the playoffs for the second consecutive season as they finished their inaugural season in the AIFA at 10-4.

The Columbus Lions maintain 100% local ownership and uphold goals of providing a simple fun evening in a family-friendly and affordable environment. The Lions also maintain strong ties to the community with the Columbus Youth Indoor Football League that saw 100+ 9-10 years old participate and the LION-Up-To-Read Program that partnered the Lions up with the Literacy Alliance and Sylvan Learning Center. The Lions helped promote literacy and reading to local area children by visiting 20+ elementary schools in the Columbus and Phenix City area. The Columbus Lions have also joined forces by becoming a Partner in Education with Harris County Middle School.

The Columbus Lions continued their winning tradition last season improving their overall record to 20-8 and sent to more players, OL Monreko Crittenden and WR Anthony Merritt to the AFL making them the third and fourth players making the transition to the next level.

But with us living in Prattville, AL & the game being on a Monday night I don't think we will be able to come to the game. We came to the game on the 13th & it was a GREAT game. My husband is a scout so we try to come to at least 2 games a season. Good luck on the 6th.
