I love skiing. I work too much during ski season, so I spend a lot of time at Snowbird in the late season. I'm a geek, I play computer games and read science fiction, at least I admit it. I think I'm pretty well rounded though, I play ice hockey, rock climb, camp, ski, read, party, game, and work my life away when I must.
Music
I listen to it, usually when I'm working. My current play list includes Filter, Soul Coughing, Ben Folds, Jarabe de Palo, POE, Cold Play, Kasabian, Camper Van Beethoven, System of a Down, Sugar Ray, Jurassic 5, Third Eye Blind, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Pearl Jam, Shiny Toy Guns, Snow Patrol, Metric, Ra, and many more. I like a lot of stuff, but not typically country.
Movies
I like them, especially at Brewvies. I really go for satire and dark comedy. I have fairly random tastes spanning from Akira to Lawrence of Arabia though. I like action and car chases, but who doesn't? Movies on my shelf include: Run Lola Run, Stranger than Fiction, Garden State, Boondock Saints, Grosse Pointe Blank, Punch-Drunk Love, and many more.
Television
I don't watch too much, but I do record a few things and watch them in my spare time. The only things I'm recording right now are Battlestar Galactica (Sci Fi) and Burn Notice (USA). I'll watch Scrubs if it's on and I have nothing better to do.
Books
I like alternate history and science fiction. I sometimes read fantasy, but not all that much. I'm currently reading a series by S.M. Sterling, pretty good stuff.
Heroes
G.W.B., anyone who can screw over hundreds of millions of people and still keep his job must be amazing... somehow... right?
Larry gets home late one night and, Linda, his wife says, "Where in the hell have you been?"
Larry replies, "I was out getting a tattoo."
"A tattoo?" she frowned. "What kind of tattoo did you get?"
"I got a hundred dollar bill on my privates," he said proudly.
"What the hell were you thinking?" she said, shaking her head in disgust. "Why on earth would an accountant get a hundred dollar bill tattooed on his privates?"
"Well, one, I like to watch my money grow; Two, once in a while I like to play with my money; Three, I like how money feels in my hand; And, lastly, instead of you going out shopping, you can stay right here at home and blow a hundred bucks anytime you want."
Larry is recovering in room #233 at the local hospital
