Why do we, as a species, find it necessary to designate a person(s)/group(s) as something to idolize? Perhaps, this why I can’t find contentment within religions... What makes a person better then all other people? I don’t want to underestimate the lingering effects of our class systems, social-economical structures and, the lovely effects of peer-pressure. Moreover, in all of lives, we place people above one-and-another - unfortunately, we have too. Nonetheless, why is one person place so high, above anybody else; almost, setting an unrealistic goal of something that we never be. Damn you Maslow - why did you not finish your work! What happen to the self? I'm think of it as a passing character-logical change and, just not as an, emotional-cognitive-expressive state.

Thought we'd give you a film to watch; an intriguing, creative and disconcerting trilogy of experimental short films written, featuring and made by a whole host of the Hum-Drum Films collective, connected together by the wanderings of various lost or out of place characters in a world of weird anomalies and metaphorical props. Shot with trademark confidence and inventiveness and treading the usual ground the verges between bizarre and genius, don't expect viewing to guarantee clarity!
We just added a new short film to the channel from UK collective Crestfallen Productions, telling the blackly comic tale of a film obsessed young man, his dog hating neighbour and the strange relationship that develops between them both. Combining classic indie short filmmaking with genre horror, film noir and a whole bunch of other influences this is an exciting debut from a team that had only just left university when it was shot, check it out and drop by the site for more of the best short films.
