as a native austinite, i grew up going to see live music. after eight years of working as a hospice social worker, i started comboplate booking in 1999. my roster includes these terrific artists: nels andrews, ana egge, michael fracasso, nathan hamilton, eric hisaw, matt the electrician, elizabeth mcqueen, moonlight towers, beaver nelson, aj roach. in addition to booking shows for the roster, i have organized and hosted monthly shows for the clients at a local soup kitchen since april 2001. also, since 2002, i have organized sxsf, south by soup fest, an annual 3 day showcase at the same soup kitchen.
