study totaling 15 units. A "unit" is one year of study
in high school:
3 years: Math (Algebra,

The CSU Eligibility Index is the result of a formula that combines your
achievement in high school courses with the results of the SAT I or ACT. The
index uses your earned grades in courses taken in 10th through 12th grade
excluding courses taken in PE or ROTC. Click here for the eligibility
index table for California high school graduates or Residents of California.
Take the ACT (score of
23/24) or the SAT (scores
of 550) and submit the results directly to the CSUB Admissions
Office. If you scored less than a 550 on the SATs or 23/24 on the ACT, then
you have to take the CSU's English Placement Test (ELM) and the Entry Level
Math (ELM) tests. To learn more about the tests, visit the CSUB Testing
Office:
www.csub.edu/testing.
