Comedy (duh!), my daughter (that's a requirement if I'm to be considered a good parent, right?) my pugs (two of the most awsome dogs in the world), crafting/creating art, mosaics, collages, DCI (major band geek) anything creative and artistic.
Music
Pretty eclectic. Anything from Broadway showtunes (Wicked, Rent, Funny Girl, Chess, Sound Of Music, etc.) to Frank Sinatra, Harry Bellafonte, Billy Joel (I'm from Long Island- it's the law!) Nora Jones, Tina Turner, Liza Minelli, Barbara Streisand, Queen, Cat Stevens, Simon & Garfunkle, Swing, Big band and yes, even country.
Movies
Movies I could watch over and over:Moulin Rouge, Sound Of Music, Rent, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Trading Places, Mrs. Doubtfire. Movies that make you think: Hotel Rowanda, Life Is Beautiful, What Dreams May Come.
Television
I currently don't own a TV (yes, you read that correctly) but when I did have one, I was a big fan of Heroes, Survivor, Boston Legal, CSI (Las Vegas), Without A Trace & The Amazing Race.
Books
Just finished reading Steve Martin's book "Born Standing up"-an amazing book (my opinion). I have two other books on my night table which I am currently in the middle of: Dancing Naked At The Edge Of Dawn & The Shipping News.
About me: I am a friendly, sometimes naive, fun-loving comedian that likes to make people laugh as well as enjoying watching other comedians perform. Without laughter I think we'd all go insane! Currently I am working on a editing a movie I shot over the last year in addition to working on a book and getting use to being a new mom while still trying to have a comedy career-all simultaneously! I believe all dreams are attainable if you're willing to put your heart and soul into them. One day soon I hope to star as "Elphaba" in "WICKED" in the not so distant future. We all could be better people by using our animals as our examples-eat as much as you like, roll around in things that smell good to you and get plenty of sleep!
Who I'd like to meet: Carol Burnett, Tim Conway, Harvey Korman, Bill Irwin, Ellen DeGeneres, Phyllis Diller, Joan Rivers, Steve Martin, Eddie Murphy and anyone else that had an influence on my comedy.
