Bobby J is a very young talented upcoming comedian that loves to entertain people. He started at a young age entertaining his brothers and sisters. Beginning his professional stand-up career in College in 2002 he quickly gained notoriety in St. Louis and eventually years later in his hometown of Kansas City. His first performance taking place in front of well known comedian Bruce-Bruce ensured Bobby that comedy was his calling. Bobby will have you rolling out of your seats from the time he hits the stage until he says goodnight. He was always smart and talented knowing how to slip in and out of character on stage with no problem, landing standing-ovations around the country. He is respected by all of his peers, loved by his audience, looked up to by his family.
Bobby J. frequently plays some of the countries top comedy clubs and colleges across the country such as Improv Comedy Clubs, Funnybone Comedy Clubs, Jokes & Notes, Los Angeles Laugh Factory, Carolines, Uptown Comedy Club, Caroline’s, Comix, Stand Up New York, and the Gotham Comedy Club. He has opened for comedians Mike Epps, Katt Williams, Damon Wayans, Bruce-Bruce, Tony Rock, Adele Givens, Bill Bellamy, Eddie Griffin, Kevin Hart and more. You can also catch his act as he plays clubs, colleges, and concerts across the country. Recent television credits includes TV ONE’s Bill Bellamy’s Who’s Got Jokes.
Let me Introduce myself.. My name is Bobby J., one of the most ignorant individuals you will meet in your life.. I love making people laugh, performing and traveling across the country. Comedy is my life right now and I couldnt ask for anything better. Hell, what other job you know of where you dont even have to take a drug test or fill out an application to start working?? My Comedic style is tied to my surroundings. Growing up in the hood, poor and nothing else to do but sit on the front porch and see life happening, that is comedy in itself.. I love to bring those stories to life on stage and create characters to give my audience a show to remember. Non-stop laughter and down right ignant comedy is what I bring to the table. Never a dull moment!
