About me: Comedian Chris Williams was born and raised in the Bronx, New York. Growing up he was always known has the class clown. He began taking comedy seriously when he decided to start auditioning for different movie and theater projects in New York. He landed many roles in independent films, but the two films that he’s well known for are “State Property” and “Paper Soldiers.” Even with these films under his belt, and people stopping him to take a picture or get an autograph he still realized that something was missing, and that something happen to be someone…Jesus! In December of 2001 Chris gave his life to Jesus Christ. Now being born again, Chris is using his comedic talent that the Lord as blessed him with for ministry. He believes that laughter is healing to the body & soul. He’s been blessed to host and share the stage with such names as, Kurt Karr, Nicole C. Mullen, Canton Jones, Papa San, Virtue, Lecrae, and many others. He recently was invited to open up the New Year with Pastor Zachery Tims of New Destiny Christian Center in Tampa Florida, for their New Years Eve Celebration, where Chris’s comedy had a room of 5,000 plus laughing their face off.
Chris is now going back into the field of acting after taking a break from the acting scene. He's now taking acting classes at The Alan Gordon Acting Studio where Alan Gordon is his acting instructor. Chris claims "that Alan Gordon is one of the best acting instructors an actor can have"
Chris is also thankful to God that he didn't continue to pursue acting when he was younger, because he believes he probably would of ended up another "Actor gone wild" due to drugs, alcohol, partying, etc. Now he's more mature, more focused, and experienced. He believes he has much more to offer in any role he takes. Chris is the actor/comedian that the world needs to see. From drama to comedy, Chris has the ability to do it all...and well!
