Luke Thayer's Comedian Bio
|
| Bio | As the son of a preacher, Luke Thayer has been exposed to public speaking his whole life. Adulthood came and he chose to enter the family business in a less-conventional way… through stand-up comedy.
Weaving in and out of silliness, observation, and irreverence, Luke shares his own personal embarrassment along with a unique look at everything from a morning commute to our Presidential elections. His likable and friendly personality allows him to touch on sharp-edged topics as well as common experiences in a most imaginative way.
Trained at the Improv Olympic Theater in Chicago and the Upright Citizen’s Brigade Theater in New York City, Luke is the co-creator and producer of the popular live show, "The Living Room" in Brooklyn, NY performing stand-up and over 25 original sketch characters.
He can be seen live in New York City comedy clubs, throughout the US, and around the world. Luke has appeared on MTV.com, Lifetime.com, and Nerve.com. Catch him on Season 2 of the Food Network Show, “Food Detectives.” | | Website | comedianluke.com | | TV Shows | Food Detectives on Food Network |
