Comedy On The EDGE....'s Interests
General
Comedy, Comedy, Comedy, People who like Comedy, Comedy, Comedy, Even more Comedy, Audience members, Microphone Stands, Watching Coming, Listening to Comedy, Observing Comedy.
Music
Not only Comedy but we got tunes as well. Everything from from Beat Boxing to Bon Jovi:) As Comedy and music are almost as good together as Brad and Angelina each week you will hear cutting Edge tunes as well as cutting Edge wit.
Movies
"All the world is a stage and we are mere players," William Shakespeare. Frustrated at being a mere player? If so why not try Stand Up? If you have ever considered Stand Up please email Mark care of themwohshow@yahoo.com.
Television
Seriously Tuesday night TV. Rather than watch an "all new" (Yeah Right) Simpsons or some reality Celebrity contest, why not come along and see the Cream of the Comedy Scene? Neighbours may have Ramsay Street but we are a mere 1 minute walk from Oxford Street!
Books
Anything by Dan Brown.....The comedian that is! In the early seventies a young up and coming comedian named Andy Kaufman (Taxi) used to threaten the crowd that if they don't behave he will read them the American classic, The Great Gatsby. And read it he did, all 276 pages worth. But don't worry we won't do that to you. Yeah we will instead read a modern day Australian Classic. The Latham Diaries.
Heroes
"It must have been cold there in my shadow, a beautiful smile to hide the pain, you always walked a step behind, did I ever tell you Richard Pryor your my hero, your everything I think a comedian should be, I could be as a high as an eagle, you are the wind beneath my wings," Bette Midler in Collaboration with the MW OH Show.
Who I'd like to meet: People who like to laugh and have fun and want to spend their Tuesday nights with the coolest of people in the coolest of venues. After all Stand up is the new Black!!
Hey thanks for being a friend. My good Catholic friend Brian McCarthy has a new show called Panty Droppers. In his show he talks about my two favorite subjects sex and liquor. .
Thank-you for adding me! I know it may seem like I was punishing audiences by reading the Great Gatsby, but can you really punish someone with great art?
