The Rolling Stones got drunk in 1965, transported themselves to today with today's equipment, wrote much better songs and forgot how to dance.

THE SHOW
ROAD TRIP CONVERSATIONS are owed a large debt to the forming of THE SHOW. In 2005, Brandon Mitchell met Beejae (aka Johnny Lethal) whilst hitchhiking from Albuquerque to New York City. Driving back from Los Angeles, Beejae picked him up. The two talked about music and ambition as artists for the three day trip, became fast friends, and Mitchell ended up staying in Pittsburgh. “Forming a band was not a topic that came up,” Beejae says, “We both had terrible experiences in past bands so we never even talked about it.”
THE SHOW was formed two years later when Beejae [Guitars/Vocals] and Mitchell [Guitars/Vocals] were traveling home from the end of a Northeast tour and decided, against their prior inhibitions, to form a band.
Josh Kranitz [Drums] joined soon after, having only just moved back to the city from Frederick, MD. After five months of solid rehearsals, the group sold out their first show at The Rex Theatre on Pittsburgh’s South Side. After several college TV appearances, radio spots, and a brief tour, the band returned to Pittsburgh and narrowed down their 100+ songs to a strong repertoire of twenty.
Not wanting to wait too long and lose the original quirky chemistry, the band began recording their debut album “Here’s To Your Jigsaw” only a year after forming. The unique blend of songs penned by Beejae and Brandon make up the release that is due out independently in September 2009.
The band will be doing a full US and UK Tour from September-November 2009 and March-April 2010, with new bass player Kris Corona. The band plan on working on their follow up album before doing 2010 Summer Festivals in Europe and in the US.
Enjoy the music, and we hope to see you at a concert soon! COME SEE THE SHOW!

AP has a survey up right now for their 2010 tour. Please take a moment and write THE SHOW in. They are hard working, great sounding and deserve the chance...please please please... http://altpress.com/surveys/aptour2010.htm
Kris was so great on HTYJ. A great addition to the band, and definetly will be missed by The Show fans everywhere. Good luck in everything you do, Kris.
Mark Dignam has been bumping into Paul Luc and Ben Shannon a lot, at Treelady Studios, where they are all working, on their upcoming albums. They admire each others work so much, they decided to put together what promises to be, a mini singer/songwriter festival.. Watch for special guests and a very memorable night at The Rex Theater, 1602 East Carson Street. Pittsburgh, PA 15203. 8pm. $10.
Sweet Edinboro. Contact me if you want to attend the free show and not drive. Perhaps we can manage a charter bus...Since the show is free...Anyhow I know I will be there!
Really miss you guys. The new songs are sounding so good, I only wish I was up there in Pittsburgh to play some shows with you all. Hope you're really coming to Nashville (to play an under 21 gig, haha), cause I'll do what I can to make it. Maybe you can book something here at Belmont University, you should try.
I mean what I say, guys. Hope to see you all soon.
