ROAD TRIP CONVERSATIONS are owed a large debt to the forming of THE SHOW. In 2005, Brandon Mitchell met Johnny Saint Lethal whilst hitchhiking from Albuquerque to New York City. They talked music and ended up playing several shows together in separate projects. THE SHOW was formed two years later when Lethal and Mitchell decided, against their prior inhibitions, to form a band and share lead vocals and songwriting. While having two unique facets to a band, with two styles of songwriting and singing has rarely worked in rock bands (the only modern example I can think of is Oasis), it came naturally to The Show, and flows perfectly together—like cigarettes and alcohol. Jeff Bets, responded quickly to an ad asking for a bassist for THE SHOW. Josh Kranitz [Drums] joined soon after, moving from Maryland. After five months of rehearsals, the group sold out their first show at The Rex Theatre on Pittsburgh's South Side. Numerous TV appearances, radio spots, and a brief tour later, the band returned to Pittsburgh and narrowed down their 200+ songs to a strong repertoire of twenty in order to focus on what eventually would develop into "Here's To Your Jigsaw". The Show, are equally known for their unpredictable and explosive performances, as well as a curtain of mystery. This aura, caused by a no-personal-info-to-press-polidy, has led to tabloid-like rumors of in-band romance and fighting. The band toured the Eastern United states in Winter of 2010 and the UK and Ireland in the Spring of 2010 in support of Here's To Your Jigsaw. Four singles from the album have been played worldwide, with two of them, "I Don't Mind", and "Black & Blue" going into light commercial rotation in the US and England. Currently, with the success of "Black & Blue", and the imminent release of the final double-A-side single, "Milestone/Take This Gun", the band doing several live radio appearances across the country to further support Jigsaw, which has been picking up in sales thanks to radio play and soundtrack placement of "Take This Gun" in a 2012 movie, "Honesty". An Autumn '11 tour of the US is expected to be announced in the near-future.
