Comfort Station has earned a reputation as a solid performing band on the Canadian independent music community. The band’s first full-length album Occupied (released September 2005) features the band's unique combination of funk, rock, world music, improvisation and energy Comfort Station is best known for. The band and selected tracks from Occupied were featured on CBC’s New Music Hot List. Comfort Station’s music also made international waves receiving airplay in the United States and France.
