Comic Energy Sketch Comedy Troupe, is Philadelphia's original and longest running sketch comedy troupe having been created in October of 1999.
The troupe has been going strong since then amassing nearly 300 performances, and performing over 600 sketches.
CE is currently performing their 9th season of sketch comedy in the great city of Philadelphia, and although the cast has changed throughout the years, the troupe still maintains its "Attitude of Philly" image labeled on them by a gig in North Carolina in 2002.
The troupe is known to bring great laughs through their one of a kind original characters, mixed with an impersonation here or there, and the some of the most outrageous story lines you will see on a stage. Also known for their props, and sets the troupe will perform themed sketch comedy shows from time to time.
The current troupe still consists of some long timers, including James Daly the troupes organizer, Frank Fral who has been with the group since 2004, Mike Ford since 2005, and Robb Stech who joined the cast during the summer.
Add new additions like last seasons Rob Gardner and Mary Sack with CE's latest additions of Orin Belinsky, Jake Beckerman, Jenn Belinsky, and Dennis Mahoney, and you get the concoction that currently makes Comic Energy, "THE ATTITUDE OF PHILLY!".
