Wanted: The Funniest Comic in the Nation!
The search is on for the hottest new up and coming urban comics to grace a stage. We all know there is a first time for everyone; such as the great Richard Pryor, Redd Foxx and the late Robin Harris, and the new greats, The Wayan Bros., Jamie Fox, Dave Chappelle, Chris Rock and DL Hughley, to name a few.
We are looking for the next Comic great of our time. It’s time for some new blood!! We are on the prowl and getting great laughs from it! Our show will be held in New Jersy, at What'z So Funny!?! comedy club, and the finals at Carolines On Broadway in New York city. The audience will judge and critique performances, and a different Celebrity will host each show. The winner from each show will come together at the end of the competition and face-off with each other to win cash and prizes!
Comics On Fire is also a showcase for Jamie Foxx's Laffapalooza. MikeJack Enterprises, Inc., in association with Funnominal Entertainment, has arranged for the winner of the competition to win a spot on Laffapalooza!
Comics on Fire will allow MikeJack Enterprises to create and build upon relationships with sponsors, comedians, managers, agents, promoters and the people we need the most, the audience! An ongoing showcase will get the show moving and grooving at a rapid pace (like a wildfire), and give you a chance to gain the confidence needed to survive the showcase at the end of the competition. While our next show will be based in New York, we will be looking for and advertising for comics from all over the country.
Want the chance to show off your skills? Local comedians can enter by auditioning. Just submit the comedian application from the website and a 15 minute videotape to MikeJack Enterprises, 166 N La Brea Ave, Inglewood, CA 90301. Each show will produce a winner who will receive $500 per show (one winner per show). The finalist from each show will advance to the finals for their chance to win $2,000.00, making their total winnings $2,500.00. All shows will be taped in front of a live audience. Competition finalists will receive honor, industry recognition, cash and prizes.
Comedians presenting inappropriate material will not be considered. Applicants are already being registered. There are only eight slots open per show in a total of six shows. Applicants should contact MikeJack Enterprises via email at contactus@mikejack.com and request registration guidelines and information. Only highly skilled and motivated comedians are urged to apply. Our audience will select the winner by laughs and cheers.
Additionally, MikeJack Enterprises will donate a portion of the proceeds from all shows to charities such as the Sickle Cell Anemia Foundation and the Magic Johnson Foundation. This is a great way to gain exposure and hone your comedic skills at the same time.

О себе:
Our upcoming event, “Comics on Fire” is a nationwide comedy competition. Our goal is to find the next Richard Pryor, Chris Rock, Eddie Murphy, Monique, etc. There are a lot of great comedians out there and we want to discover him or her! We also want to give back to our community by charity donations (charities will be announced at a later date).
We are looking for the next Comic great of our time. It’s time for some new blood!! We are on the prowl and getting great laughs from it! Our show will be held in Hollywood, CA. at the world famous Laugh Factory, the greatest showcase for comics. The audience will critique and judge performances and a different Celebrity will host each show. Winners will receive up to $5,000 in cash and prizes! Comics On Fire is also a showcase for Jamie Foxx's LAFFAPALOOZA. MikeJack Enterprises, Inc., in association with Funnominal Entertainment, has arranged for the winner of the competition to win a spot on LAFFAPALOOZA!
