About Coming This Fall [wishes you a happy holidays!]
In 2006, Michael and Cody set off on a simple yet awesome mission... to jam out in mike's dad's house to their respective instruments. What started as these jam sessions turned into a desire to learn other instruments, write music, and recruit others to join them. What unfolded will be unforgettable... a passion to bring their creativity to the masses.
Scourging the scene of Jacksonville, they grew a fanbase and decided to put their music where their CD players are with their first EP - "When Moon and Earth Collide," produced by Jeff Davis of Davis Audio Producition. There was only one problem, this group of guys couldn't stop writing music. After laying down demo tracks, and releasing them with overwhelming positive support, Coming This Fall has decided to enter The Wade Studio in Summer 2009 with six brand new songs.
Now, a band consisting of five permanent members lives by only two things: college by day, Coming This Fall by night. Awaiting their destiny, Coming This Fall currently plays shows all over Jacksonville, but can't wait to get a taste of the rest of Florida, and hopes to tour the country soon.
We are Coming This Fall. Not to be confused with Coming Next Fall. That is not our name.
We run this site, and we practically manage the band ourselves, everything you see and hear is 100% us. But don't be mistaken, we draw from an INNUMERABLE amount of outside influences, from big bands to local bands we have shared the stage with. We want to ask you to please be a part of this cause, this revolution. All it takes is to talk to us, hangout at shows, give us your insight on pictures, videos, new songs, old songs... anything! We love anyone who gives our music a try, and we guarantee that even if this isn't your genre, you still won't be disappointed in the quality of sound and musicality that we provide. We listen to all criticisms. All we ask is that you respect the effort, and understand that we aren't just a local band, but a group of guys who really wants to show the world what we have to offer.
