The members of Common Thread are Ian Azrikan on guitar/vocals, Billy Langon on guitar/vocals, Dave Rosenblum on sax/keys/vocals, Mike Devine on the bass guitar and Kat Stark on drums/percussion.
Common Thread is a diverse cover band that draws it's influences from many genres such as blues, country, roots rock, blues rock, and pop rock. Mix it all together and you get a band capable of pulling off tunes by Cash, Elvis, Clapton, The Beatles, Ray Charles, Springsteen and so many more artists. In the end they are just a good ol' rock and roll band with excellent musicianship and and the ability to entertain an audience as their driving force.
Common Thread is undeniably one of NY's premier up and coming cover bands. A band that is beginning to generate a buzz and gain quite a bit of recognition as they continue to impress and entertain with their live performances.
DJ Riders Rhythm and Brews will host the first annual Little Village Rock Festival, to benefit the Little Village House in Port Washington,NY The Little Village House is a residence for local Autistic children who need special care which parents have difficulty providing in their own homes. It is a non-profit agency which gets most of its funding from the parents of the residents, as well as donations from the outside. That's where we come in. These kids need us to help them . There will be live music, a free buffet provided by DJ Rider himself, Raffles, and a 50/50 drawing. Music will be provided by the following local artists:
There will be a $10 minimum donation at the door, but you are encouraged to give as much as you can.
