Common Time was started in 2007 as a jazz quartet through their school. The band made up of friends, Mike Malone, James Sawicki, Joey Alban, and Jake Bedroske, has been performing ever since then. The band has played almost everywhere and anywhere in the Oshkosh area. From local shows like the New Moon Cafe, Time Theater, or the local club scene to large scale gigs like Fox Jazz Fest, Platteville Jazz Fest, and Waterfest. Throughout that time the band also managed to release 2 albums (a third is in the works right now), as well as gain credibility in the area by performing on channel 5, WFRV, and being named "Artist of The Week" by the Oshkosh Northwestern.
Along the way we've met and performing with great musicians. Jeff Coffin of Dave Matthews Band, The Gin Blossoms, Tigran Hamaysan, Steve March Torme, Erin Boheme. All these oppurtunities have been a true blessing. We have to thank all of our teachers inside and outside of the classroom, and of course our family, friends, and fans.
