The Common World Collective is an emerging force to be reckoned with on the acoustic scene. Fiddler and lead vocalist Joe Troop's music and compositions are a reflection of his international life, having spent extensive time in Spain, Morocco and Japan. Banjoist Andy Thorn has spent much of the past four years touring with several widely acclaimed bluegrass bands including Larry Keel and Natural Bridge, and Hit and Run. Pete Kimosh, the "Bassman of the Sky" is deeply rooted in the jazz tradition but is a commanding multi-stylist. Based in central North Carolina, the Common World Collective is already turning heads with their openly eclectic and inspiring sound.
