   Commune's Blurbs
About me:
A group of young artists and activists go to the wood of California to create a new, tribal world with one credo: Free Land for Free People. However, each person at the Black Bear Ranch commune has their own idea of what freedom might be. Their utopia is complicated by FBI surveillance, the births of children, and an extreme cult. "Commune" is the first documentary to explore "being together" as imagined in the 1970s, shedding light on how personal choices reverberate throughout our national and global identities. Featuring commune members actor Peter Coyote, herbalist Micheal Tierra, Chinese Medicine pioneer Harriet Beinfeld, and artist Elsa Marley.

“Amid the dozens of documentaries made about various aspects of '60s society and culture, "Commune" stands out for its ambiguity, honesty and sheer human clarity…an extraordinary collage.” Andrew O'Hehir, Salon

“A breezy, informal history of a long-running California commune begun in the summer of 1968 and still in existence, offers the fascinating spectacle of observing people then and now.” Stephen Holden, NY Times

"A clear-eyed look back at the heyday of the Black Bear Ranch commune in Siskiyou County, Calif., by articulate former members, including actor Peter Coyote." -Kenneth Turan, L.A. Times

“A close examination of a quintessential '60s phenomenon that speaks volumes about the attitudes and experiences that shaped the decade...captivating.” Maitland McDonagh, TV Guide

"A comprehensive study of a small-scale revolution that succeeds almost in spite of itself." Jeff Shannon, Seattle Times

SF Summer of Love Rock n Roll Review

Get your Groove on!

WOODSTOCKDELREY.jpg picture by captaindaveylockhart

Marina Del Rey/Venice, California
This 4th of July come celebrate America's birthday with a little Peace Love and ROCK N ROLL!!

The Marina Music Festival honors the 40th Anniversary of Woodstock featuring a live musical tribute to Jimi Hendrix, The Doors, Janis Joplin, The Who, and Creedence Clearwater Revival .

Hosted by Music Source at the luxurious Waterfront Marina Concert Hall, 4211 Admiralty Way, Marina Del Rey, CA 90292 featuring live performances, BBQ, art, and of course a stellar Fourth of July fireworks display. Show starts at 9PM

Proceeds will benefit the nonprofit Artistspalooza organization for the arts.

David Lockhart's painfully excessive capturing of the booze-swilling and constantly concupiscent Jim Morrison is an encyclopedic homage to the ethos of rock. Boudeeka's haunting accurate portrayal of Janis Joplin is a tribute to women in rock and the raw emotion that was so much a part of the scene. Carlton Poward is an almost frightening replica with his spot-on Jimi Hendrix characterization and inspired guitar playingšÃ‚

Dear Lovely One....

Here is the last in the Rainbow Serpent Earth Chakra Series, Mont, Kailash, The Crown Chakra, I haven't been yet but the Avalon Rising boys wanted the whole set for their publication which will be out at the Sunrise Festival, 31st of May.

Also being released at Sunrise will be 'The Journey So Far ' Film I am still working on it at the moment, but that is my dead line.. so hopefully you will be there for that one. And, and, and the release of the 'Indigo Generation' compilation CD will be happing at Sunrise.

But for those that cant make Sunrise there will be other more official launch events for both 'The Journey So Far' and the 'Indigo Generation' CD, I will keep you informed.

Love Tor.

Happy New Year and Happy Full Moon.

We have now moved into a seven year cycle from 2000, when collectively we decided that the Aquarian age was to start. There is no official date for the start of the Aquarian age, 2012 has been mentioned and yes this will be another mile stone but the Aquarian age has been coming since the 60’s.
The collective consciousness and Christedness is our awakening and the past flux of the 1st seven year cycle, as we slowly adjust to the new energies, has come to a close, we can now expect things to become easier and more delightful.
Have a good one, lots of love Tor.

Happy Winter Solstice

Dear Friends,

Happy Winter Solstice 00:22 on 22nd of December. This is me giving thanks to you all making 2006 a wonderful year and knowing 2007 will be even better!

On the 12/12/06 we, The Rainbow Serpent Project, did a Third Eye ceremony on Burrow Mump with thirteen attending. Burrow Mump is part of the Glastonbury Landscape Zodiac Temple in Somerset, England. It stands on the third eye of the newly found Unicorn in the landscape. Since we did the ceremony on the 12th much information is coming in of unlocking the Glastonbury and third eye energies.

A week before the ceremony I had vision at a meeting discussing the Mary Magdalene festival in Glastonbury next year. I walked into the room where there was a lot of information and disinformation about the early Christians and Joseph of Arimathea, about him bringing the Christ consciousness to the world grounding it at Glastonbury. This group transformed into a group of Pagans and Druids 2000 years ago, listening to this new information about a man called Christ. I realised that this is the message of the 12.12.06, that we have to reconnect a fresh to the Christos information as that energy is returning. The misconception that Christ will return is part of the distortion, it is the Christos light that will return and we as pagans and people of the we need to ground that in the same way the pagans did 2000 years ago, they did it by inviting the early Christians to their ceremonies and working with them, not against them, for example the winter solstice.

We now know that Christ was born in September and the Christmas was a celebration of the return of the Christ light, in the same way the pagans celebrated the return of the sun light. This is all very connected to Glastonbury as it has also recently been discovered that Glastonbury is an observatory and at the sun rise of the winter solstice, if you stand on windmill hill Mump, the sun rises up the side of the Tor perfectly and continues until it reaches 12pm and stands at its highest point directly above the top of Chalice hill and then sets down the side of Wirral hill.

Lots and Lots of Love,
Tor
