ITVS Community Cinema presents free screenings in communities from coast to coast. From September to May, Community Cinema screenings offer special sneak previews of films scheduled for upcoming broadcast on the Emmy Award-winning PBS series Independent Lens. Community Cinema screenings feature panel discussions with leading community-based organizations, special guest speakers, information and resources, and other programming designed to help people learn about and get involved in some of today's key social issues.
ITVS Community combines partnerships, strategic planning, events and resource materials to support community and educational activities through Independent Lens films.
The IL Video Widget is a convenient portal for viewing and sharing previews of upcoming Independent Lens broadcasts and allows for easy access to the film's companion Web site. The widget will update regularly with new video content as it becomes available.
How to install
At the bottom of the widget click the "options" button and select which service you plan to use, then follow the onscreen instructions. If you would like to customize the size of the widget click the link "get this widget" and then choose "customize this widget".
