We run after school songwriting programs in Wayne & Washtenaw counties (Michigan, USA) public schools, connecting our songwriting students with local charities. Through helping kids to write, perform and record their own songs, we aim to build important and lasting connections in the local community. The students choose a social justice issue, e.g., Animal Rights, write a song about it, e.g., "Animals Need Respect," and then sell the song to benefit an area charity that works on this issue, e.g., Friends of Michigan Animal Rescue.
In addition, we produce young bands' and solo artists' recordings. We are also collaborating with area nonprofits on a variety of music-related projects. Thank you for your interest and for supporting the arts in your community.
Order your copy of CRF's latest release, ANIMALS NEED RESPECT at www.CRFoundation.net today! Sales of this CD from April 30 - May 15 benefit FRIENDS OF MICHIGAN ANIMAL RESCUE, a no-kill animal shelter. We're asking for a minimum donation of $5 to download the whole CD.
