In bringing together an eclectic gathering of musicians from the mid-west, ComoSapien is a group of five guys who strive to provide a fantastic funk show built from improvisation, tightness, and an often overlooked ability to have a damn good time while playing together. This allows a generally unrecognized efficacy within the community of music fans and players that we hold so strong to our soul. Music is our release, our passion, and our chance to engender a deeply rooted need to supply dance beat funk to our friends, fans, and the random passerby. Come join the experience, we’ll make you come back for more and give you something to shake your booty with.
In the fall of 2006, while studying at the University of Minnesota, Ricky Martin (no relation.....YIKES) and Brett Turner began collaborating on a series of original songs. Carl, Jake, and Mookie have since joined to add their uniqueness or art and creativeness to form what is now referred to as "COMOSAPIEN
The band has developed a serious practice regiment, and added almost two dozen original songs to their suitcase of creativeness. Come check out a show!

The 3Gs ('aka Grateful Garcia Gathering), is returning back to the Camp NCN Venue in beautiful Black River Falls Wisconsin July 30th though August 2nd 2009 where it all began over 6 years ago! A grateful place where Garcia fans will be gathering! It also marks the celebration of Jerry Garcia's 67th Birthday, plus the 14th Anniversary of Jerry's untimely passing. We have leased the campground venue for July 30th though August 3rd 2009 for our 6th annual music festival.
Other great music festivals have hosted at this venue such as Weedstock, Farmapalooza, Big Wu Family Reunion, Campout Roots Festival,just to name a few!
