Influences

Rock music of all types. Indie rock like Death Cab, Minus the Bear, Mineral, Sunny Day Real Estate, Iron and Wine and many others. Old-school grunge like Soundgarden, AIC, Pearl Jam, Screaming Trees, Smashing Pumpkins and others. Wussy bands like Counting Crows, a little bit of Dashboard Confessional, some Hall and Oates and Natalie Merchant. Pretty much anything with harmony from Motown. The occasional hip-hop song.

The Company Line is a new band from the Cleveland area featuring Craig Lyndall on guitar and lead vocs, Todd Emery on guitar, Kevin Latanich on bass guitar and Mike Gehrisch on drums

What do you guys sound like?
The Company Line is a band that could be categorized in the huge array of indie/emo bands around, but we don't really think too much about it. If we were to categorize ourselves to the world in the most generic terms possible, it would be melodic rock and that is it. We try to write the best songs possible and the influences vary so much that we still aren't quite sure where we fit in.
