hair folicles. It's the density that is different. We also have the
same spots on our bodies that don't have hair, the lips, palms, and
soles of the feet. When we left the forest in search for food we lost
our hair, but we still needed a way to protect ourselves from uv rays.
Protection the forest and extra hair created. We needed the extra hair
to regulate our body temperature in the forest where air could be
cooler. This lady doctor(rosyln Harding) traced back the evolution of
this gene through mutations, called MC1R, this gene produces the darker
or reder pigment depending on your spot from the equator. She traced
this gene back to 1.2 million years ago. She found that the same
mutation spread through africa which is when we would have needed it
because our journey into the savanah, so we lost the hair, and this
mutation kicked in. Today in africa everybody is still born with the
same mutation of the gene that can be traced back to 1.2 million years
ago. Everywhere else there is in effect, mutations of the gene. - stuff
you should know Pod cast.

Otherwise: How's life treating you. OK. I hope. Drop us a line when you have a minute. All the best.

falls in love by choice,
it is by CHANCE.
No one
stays in love by chance,
it is by WORK.
And no one
falls out of love by chance,
it is by CHOICE
If you love this man
please forward to 10 people.
He did
something for you,
now do something for Him. Spread his word,
and you'll be rewarded..
How?
Matthew 10:32...
'Whoever acknowledges Me before men,
I will acknowledge him
before My Father in heaven.
But whoever disowns Me before men,
I will disown him
before My Father in heaven.'
God is going to
shift things around
for you tonight
& let things work
in your favor.

"The Essene Gospel of Peace, was discovered in 1923 in the secret archives of the Vatican. The following are some sections of the words that Jesus shared with the Essenes taken from this scripture:
"‘Thou shalt not kill,’ for life is given to all by God, and that which God has given, let not man take away.
Kill not, neither eat the flesh of your innocent prey, lest you become the slaves of Satan. For that is the path of sufferings, and it leads unto death. But do the will of God, that his angels may serve you on the way of life. Obey, therefore, the words of God: ‘Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to everything that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is breath of life, I give every green herb for meat. Poem 162 of 230, WalkaboutsVerse
(please see my blog):
TEES TO TYNE: FIRST IMPRESSIONS - SUMMER 2001
Where traditions are not so rare;
Sea, country and works scent the air;
A multitude of monuments,
Planted tubs and patterned pavements.
The longish pedestrian malls;
The remnants of defensive walls;
Historic buildings are a gauge
Of the respect for heritage.
Wheat, rape and pines in the fields;
Estuaries guarded by shields;
Long sandy beaches and wide scenes;
Romantic-ruin go-betweens.
Rivers in parts licked by trees,
Or fringed by boat clubs, wharfs, gantries,
And crossed by practical delights -
Varied spans, forming pleasing sights.
Fine churches headed at Durham;
Football kits ad infinitum;
Kept castles - one for study;
Masonry behind masonry.
And, with moulding-works out that way,
It’s somewhere for a longer stay..?

If you aren't interested in having your picture on our page, but have a story you want to share with us please feel free to post it in our blog or comment section... We would love to hear it... (For example, I have a new rescue here, sweet little guy that has decided it would be ever so fun to help me send out comments by walking over the keyboard, and using my hair as a cat toy.... now if only I could teach him how to enter captcha codes!!!!).
We have a very diverse group of friends and we appreciate and welcome everyone, and strongly encourage those of you that are not in our area to seek out an organization in your area... It is amazing what a difference one person can make...
Thanks to all of our friends for showing us your support!!!!

World Vegan Bake Sale you say? Whatever could that be - besides the most awesome thing ever?!
Yes, I believe 50 cent said it best - "I love you like a fat kid loves cake." Well, get ready to unleash your inner fat kid and indulge in a plenitude of vegan baked good bliss! Vegan bake sales are going on in various cool spots throughout the country so get your yummy on and don't bother counting calories. It's for a great cause; the proceeds of the sales benefit sanctuaries, animal rescue groups, & other humane heroes. If you've got crazy baking skills, show them off and show your support by baking something for the event.
I'm going to the sale in San Francisco run by the crew at Post Punk Kitchen and the Sugar Beat Sweets company - 2 full days of sweet vegan numminess to benefit the amazing Animal Place animal sanctuary and phenom organization East Bay Animal Advocates - but you can spread the word to your vegan and veg*n-minded friends and countrymen no matter where they live.
