Completely Random is the brainchild of J.J. Sivak, who started writing songs when he was in elementary school. Later in his travels, he got Jack Campbell into writing songs and music, which made for a very reactive combination. For a few years, the two wrote and played songs with bassist Mathew Lochner, who eventually left the band for sports, and the two were left a guitar-drum duo.
Thankfully, in the summer of 2008, bassist and talented musician Sam Wattrus came into play, and the band was broken into the Duluth indie music scene later that July with a show at Beaner's Central.
Since then, the three have played with three bands that started as heroes and became friends: Now, Now Every Children, Franki Lee and the Alrights. The future looks bright for Completely Random, with their first iTunes release and many original songs to shout at the world.

well, the studio is on nicollet mall in dowtown minneapolis. do you think you and your people(parent/s) could come down and stay a night or two at a hotel and then spend the day chacking out the studio? Rob could book time for actual recording, but that would cost a little money depending on what you did...like a one song bigger deal...or it could just be a free visit. If you let us know far enough in advance, like august, then we could book a coffeehouse show that you could open for me or nina my daughter or both.....how's that for details? let me know if anything sounds good, courtney yasmineh
