(BTW, though like I said, I don't place any stake in that booklet claiming Obama's hypnotizing the electorate, I found it interesting that on the radio this morning there was an article that said they polled early voters in Florida-48% said they voted for McCain, 46% said they voted for Obama, and 6% said they DIDN'T KNOW who they had voted for....hmmmm)
Catfish	Oct 29 2008 3:38 AM Yeah, I generally feel like it's crap...I have a passing interest in NLP, and from all that I read of the document, he didn't make the case that Obama was using it, merely that he was a good speaker and that helps him get votes. So it's not the commentary I thought you'd find interesting so much as the detailed, scientific approach this guy uses, as opposed to the traditional name calling. That's all.
Catfish	Oct 27 2008 8:12 AM I don't know if you were already my Myspace friend when I posted up the fascinating NLP/Hypnotism videos by Darren Brown (Check for the one about Subliminal Advertising and another with Simon Pegg from Shaun of the Dead that is NLP specific if you haven't), but I found an interesting document that claims Obama's popularity is based off of hypnotism. I haven't had time to read it all, but while I don't buy it, I have to give this guy credit for being more intelligent than those who just yell "Brown Man! Terrorist!".
