Interests

  • General

Generally I am a pessimist... I find optimists tend to keep a blind eye to the way things are... I ANALYZE, and categorize, and think a lot about things from the sublime to the most mundane. My positives are that I provide a balanced perspective for others to consider, I give a lot of myself naturally, and that I am a hard worker, a doer less than a talker. My negatives are... highly critical, low self esteem, judgmental, and jealousy. I would not be who I am today without my negatives... which have been my greatest enemies and my best friends. The cities that most characterize me: Athens, Greece and Boston, MA

  • Music

I have never been much of a musical person because I am aware of the tremendous power music has over the soul. If I let anything in, it is to elevate me, so I listen to Baroque and classical music mostly. When I feel 'musical', I listen to Bob Dylan, dead can dance, tool, nine inch nails, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, kraftwerk, 80s music, grunge (my generation), electronic music, New Age, and world music. I like background music. Nothing too much, unless I'm driving.
  • Movies

Basically, anything directed by David Lynch. I am a Lynch fanatic... also into Kurosawa, Coppola, Scorsese
  • Television

    Ghost Hunters is fun.

It is a bit of paradise over here. We have already had snow twice - once this morning for a couple hours. It's really different living in a place where the outdoors is so awe-inspiring. We can see Mt. Hood from our bedroom and living room windows. You should come out and see us! Do you still have my number? The family's doing great. After a year and a half of N commuting, it's great to be living together again. No Principia for the little one, but he is starting Spanish. I thought of modeling his education after John Stuart Mill's, but opted for something a bit more optimistic and in tune with self-happiness and fullfillment. So good so far!

So you have discovered my other world origins... I guess the secret is safe with you.

Hey Jonathan! How's life? We have moved out into the Gorge to be near Nathan's work. I'm still at WSU, just online now. I'm getting my degree in Social Sciences. So good so far. I like your myspace! Aren't most of your friends dead though? Didn't know MySpace connected to the afterlife...
