About me:
Complexions was founded in 1994 by acclaimed Artistic Directors Dwight Rhoden and Desmond Richardson, “two of the greatest virtuosos ever to emerge from Ailey Land” (Tobi Tobias, New York Magazine). Born from their common appreciation for diversity through dance, Complexions has received numerous accolades for its high-energy choreography, remarkable dancers, and through provoking performances.
Since winning the coveted New York Times “Critics Choice” Award in 1995, the company has toured the globe- performing for sold-out audiences across North America, South America, Europe, Asia, and Australia.
