Jason Peri’s music-writing style is a reflection of his listening taste. To use the word “variety” would be an understatement. With diverse musical influences ranging from The Beatles to Rachmaninoff to Joe Sample, Jason is able to draw from, and expand upon the music he loves.
Having studied music at Cal State Fresno and Dick Grove’s Music School in Studio City, along with his experience recording and performing with bands as a lead guitarist, keyboardist and vocalist, Jason has developed a taste and understanding of music in many genres. After many years of playing rock and jazz, he enrolled in the film-scoring program at UCLA. After completing the program, Jason began composing for student films, indie shorts and feature films.
Jason’s film credits include:
Clockwork
