Hi, and welcome to my official myspace page; I am glad you stopped by! I am a composer, who writes in several formats of music, including: Classical, contemporary, jazz, R&B, orchestral, pop, ballade, and rock. I have been playing at the piano since the age of two in a half and officially started lessons a year later. My first mentor and greatest influence was a woman named Mildred Briggs. I had the pleasure of knowing Mildred, or Mrs. Briggs as the rest of us called her, in the latter time in her life. She was a strict; yet wonderful and passionate influence in my life. She taught me to read, understand, feel, and explore the wonderful multi-verse known as music. She came from a time when there was “no such thing as short-cuts”; and “A right way of doing things!” As I said before: she taught me discipline for practice and gave me knowledge to explore the wonders of my own mind; to her I am eternally indebted and grateful. "It is only through practice, discipline, and dedication; these are the tools which catapult you aloft, and help you duly and truly achieve freedom and expression." -T. <? line-height: 18>
I am proficient in several instruments including the piano, trumpet, euphonium, cornet, secondary percussion, and bass. I started writing music at the age of four, using theory… no short cuts. I write roughly four hundred musical pieces per year, with a two to three average per day. My record daily amount for compositions stands at twenty-three. Music is a strange mistress; I hear six pieces/compositions at any given time running manically through my head and can compose instantly on the spot in any key. I enjoy practicing and writing anywhere from two to six hours a day, depending on my schedule. I also maintain a mental library of which over one thousand are pieces memorized from all genres. <? line-height: 18>
I am not used to speaking of my work or my personal life in such a candid way… it is awkward, but it is a necessary task that must be done if I wish to advance my career and music. To keep costs down, I am selling my music exclusively with SNO-CAP. This allows me to bring my music to you! With SNO-CAP you can save a copy of my music on your computer, burn it on CD or put it on your portable MP3 player. It is a LEGAL COPY, and yours to enjoy forever. If you like my work, please support it; I certainly do appreciate it. <? line-height: 18>
Thank for checking out my music; I appreciate your interest. Without your appreciation, support, and love; I am nothing.
