Previous concerts have included Jewel, John Legend, Chicago, Earth Wind & Fire, Lionel Richie, Chris Isaak, Hall & Oates, Seal, Heart and Michael McDonald.
This summer marks the first-ever concert series at The Children's Hospital! Local bands including the Chris Webb Band, Opie Gone Bad, Railbenders, Matthew Moon, Angie Stevens, Flobots, Jason Vigil and Oakhurst are donating their time to bring smiles to the faces of the children staying at TCH. About me: Concerts For Kids was started in Denver, Colorado with the vision of enriching the lives of children by raising much-needed funds for local children's health and education through entertainment. We believe children are entitled to the best healthcare available and a quality education.
By combining philanthropy and entertainment, we created a fundraising concert that entertains while providing sponsors with unique marketing opportunities, both locally and nationally. Sponsors and patrons alike embrace this intimate concert as a way to appreciate clients, motivate employees and just have fun! The best part is that 100% of the net proceeds benefit charities like the local children's hospital, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Make-A-Wish Foundation and/or the public school system.

The Denver Public Schools Foundation raises funds in support of the district’s ambitious reform plan – The Denver Plan – to improve student achievement. Through top-notch professional development for principals, enhanced teacher training, improved curriculum and quality of instruction, student enrichment programs, and community partnerships, we are helping to reshape Denver Public Schools into the leading big city school district in the country.
Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation
Founded by parents of children with type 1 juvenile diabetes in 1970, JDRF is the leading charitable funder and advocate of type 1 diabetes research worldwide. In Colorado alone, JDRF annually funds over 1 million dollars in research, and $900 million worldwide since its inception. Each year more than 13,000 children are diagnosed with diabetes in the U.S. That's 35 children every day. The mission of JDRF is to find a cure for diabetes and its complications through the support of research.

I absolutly loved the John Legend/Jewel concert! Who ever came up with the concept of bring amazing artists together to benifit kids is a genius! I cannot wait to help out next year and do my part to help make the world a better place =)
