SarBear, your comment sounds like a Kids In The Hall sketch:

*mischievous young lady runs fastforward toward camera*

Girl: It's a fact! People who have played Elves are gorgeous and magical even when they're just being themselves.

*cut to Mark McKinney and Scott Thompson cavorting in Canadian fields*

Scott: I'm a fairy! I'm a fairy!

Mark: Elf. We're elves.

Scott: Maybe you are.

*Scott traipses away*

*15-year-old Bret peeks out from behind a tree and waves*

*mischievous girl reappears*

Girl: Elves are gorgeous and magical. Fairies are fun, too. It's a fact!

*she fastforward runs away*

*blackout*

*cue linking music and go to commercial*

Do you know what this means?

Fire up the slushy machines!!!! I'll have raspberry, please. (Seriously, I hope nobody gets hurt or anything.) Iceburgs and earthquakes. Sheesh.

Jemaine~
As soon as I saw it, I wanted to send a thank you comment, but was met with a "flooding the forum" type message. Then yesterday, I couldn't get on to Myspace at all. So, thank you so very, very much. What might be of little significance to you, means a whole heckuva lot to me. So THANK YOU in ALL sincerity! You made me smile!

I may lose the use of this laptop soon and not be able to comment here, but please know that I'm wishing nothing but good things for you, your family and your career.

PLEASE never let go of this website. It means a lot to all of us to know that you're there and may read what we have to say.

Just caught your tweet about the Irish bleats...Ha! They can baa!

Along my first bus ride through the Irish lands, I was convinced that the colours of the Irish flag was a direct representation of their motherlandscape.
Green for their endless fields and meadows,
Orange for the intense and vibrant buttercups bursting in bloom within them,
White for the gazillion sheep chewing away most happily on the aforementioned green and orange.

Just know you can baa back at the Irish, 'kay?
They might never respond... but they will always and totally understand where you're coming from.

Yesterday I watched the "Smokey Robinson Tribute on Ice" on TV. While watching it, two questions came to mind:

1) What does Smokey Robinson and figure skating have anything to do with each other?
2) Can it still be considered a "tribute" if the person being tributed is the one performing all of the songs?

I thought a tribute was where various musicians performed songs by another musician or group to, well, tribute them. But in this case, Smokey performed all of the songs. Does that mean he was tributing himself? Maybe it was supposed to be that the figure skaters were tributing him, which brought me back to question #1.

After a while, thinking about this started to make my head hurt, so I just let it go, sat back, and enjoyed the smooth soul sounds of Smokey Robinson. Because if there is one thing I can say for sure, after all of these years, Smokey's still got it. He started singing "Oooh Baby Baby" and it made me want to make out with a gay male figure skater.

So this begs the question, when will we be seeing the "Flight of the Conchords Tribute on Ice"? I'm thinking Brian Boitano skating to "I Told You I Was Freaky" would be pretty awesome.

Have a wonderful day, guys! *random ice skating tribute hugs*
