For many the term "punk" means having a mohawk haircut, patches on your jacket, sweet belts, and a pin in your nose, but for those few in the scene it is more of an attitude. it is the catch all term for INDEPENDENCE OF THOUGHTS and the willingness to have a go at being in a band even if you cant play, write or sing. However, the overriding strength beind it all is the willingness to experiment and accept what is take by most at face value. "NO that band isn't good just because they have an expensive video." in addition, a party bus will be traveling from Highland Square, Akron to the show and back. if you are interested in riding along, stop by Square Records or Revival in Akron and ask for the sign up sheet. it’s only $20!!! You can BYOB and drink it whilst traveling safely in a decked-out school bus...and avoid getting a DUI or any other ticket...
the bus leaves from the MATINEE on west market street at around 8:00-ish(?)... get there early for a few primer cocktails before you get on the bus...also, feel free to bring along whatever beverages you might want to drink on the way up...
