CONCRETE CONSCIENCE ART SHOW What happens when 100 cameras are distributed to Omaha's homeless population?
The Siena/Francis House and Nomad Lounge are pleased to present a unique collaboration to raise awareness by empowerment through art. In early November, Nomad Lounge delivered the first batch of 100 disposable cameras to the Siena Francis House. The cameras were distributed by the shelter's staff to over 50 of its homeless clients, encouraging them to document life on the streets and their view of their surroundings.
THE RESULTS ARE POWERFUL AND COMPELLING.

Packs of Promise. Simple concept, extraordinary results. For $35, the price of a night out on the town, you can provide a backpack filled with winter gear to someone who will be spending their night on our city streets.
The concept originated as a result of several conversations in 2006 around tangible ways for folks to give back. It has since expanded to include some of Omaha’s most creative and passionate minds in business.
Do your part. Make the $35 donation, then send the link along to friends, family and co-workers. Be a part of the grassroots movement to shift the way we address our city’s homeless population.
