Concrete started off his career playing In Luton’s legendary Sound System Soul Incorporated. His first big break came when he landed a spot at night called "Jungle Jam" which was attracting huge crowds from all over East Anglia, due to him playing just this type of specialist music. He found himself playing prime - time 12am - 1am with Legendary Mc's Five 0 & Moose from Jungle Fever & Kool fm 94.5 fm. This is where Concrete made his mark playing one of the best sets of the night Concretes DJ'ing talents from this had become widely recognized in and around the East Anglia.
This then landed him the job as Manager at, the now defunct, Daddy Armshouse record shop which was owned by top DnB producer Nookie. This was very helpful, as it gave Concrete full access to some of the biggest names on the DnB scene. Also, working at Nookies record shop allowed Concrete full access to the studio, helping him to home in on his production and sound engineering skills. Working at Daddy Armshouse proved to be a valuable learning experience. Concrete has continuously gone on from strength to strength and has a residency at one of the UK’s biggest and longest serving D'n'B nights "Warning" in Cambridge.
His first break in Broadcasting came playing on a pirate radio station called Perception fm 106.9. Before long, he would advance to Rude fm then Kool fm 94.5 in London. Now Concrete finds himself hosting a show on the first ever legal Urban & Dance Radio Station in Bedfordshire, Diverse fm 102.8, on Saturday nights 10pm - 12am. This multi-talented DJ, that just keeps on thinking outside the box, with his likeable swagger and confident tastes of music, DJ Concrete mixes everything from dance floor smashers, to a soulful groove or a more cutting-edge style of D’n’B music.
The combination of his versatile style and unique skills makes him not only a highly recognized name but also a sought-after name in the industry. His expertise has already enabled him to perform all over the world. DJ Concrete modestly believes that his talent is a blessing from God which led him to his current career and acclaim. In addition, he has all the support in the world from his family, friends, and peers.
