Concrete Words on perustettu vuoden 2002 aikana porissa. Vuosien varrella on julkaistu kaksi ep:tä sekä tehty suuri määrä keikkoja. Soitamme aggressiivista ja melodista metallia, johon on napattu vaikutteita metallin laajalta kentältä sekä vähän metallin ulkopuoleltakin. Parhaiten tätä voisi kuvata turpaan vetona musiikin muodossa. Kokoonpanomme on ehtinyt muuttumaan muutamaan otteeseen, mutta noin vuosi sitten näkemyksemme kristallisoitui ja päätimme siirtää lauluvastuut basson ohella Heurlinille. Taustalaulut hoituvat kitaristiemme Hahtamon ja Virtasen toimesta sekä toivottavasti tulevaisuudessa myös rumpalimme Huttusen toimesta. Eli jäljellä ovat neljä perustajajäsentä. Tarkoituksena on tehdä mahdollisimman paljon keikkoja ympäri Suomea. Jos tulemme kaupunkiisi tule katsomaan, et varmasti tule pettymään.
Concrete Words was formed some time around the year 2002 in Pori, Finland. During the years we have self released two ep’s and also have made a great amount of shows. We play aggressive and melodic metal which is influenced of many styles of heavy music. Best portrayal of our songs would be a severe beating in a form of music. Our line up has changed couple of times, but about a year ago our vision was crystalized and we decided to shift the vocal duties to Heurlin who also plays bass. Backing vocals are provided by our guitarists Hahtamo and Virtanen. Hopefully in a near future, our drummer Huttunen, will also sing some backing vocals. So now the line up consists of four founding members. Our intentions are to do a great amount of shows around Finland and hopefully in the other countries as well. If you hear that we are playing at your hometown, don’t hesitate to come and watch us. You won’t be disappointed.
