The Coney Island Film Festival is now entering it's 9th year! Our venues are the legendary Sideshows By The Seashore which houses the last permanent 10 in 1 Circus Sideshow in the world and The Coney Island Museum. The festival has no content restrictions. We believe in free speech and freedom of expression. The festival is run by a staff that consists of film, video and television professionals.
Our opening night party which features performances by sideshow and burlesque performers has been called "unforgettable", "original" "the best film fest party ever" among other accolades.
Our technical crew pays very strong attention to detail. We house our crew with professionals not interns or button pushers.
Our audiences are enthusiastic and we have created a supportive and unpretentious atmosphere for filmmakers to screen their work and network.
Proceeds of the festival support the not for profits arts organization Coney Island USA. The purpose of Coney Island USA is to defend the honor of American popular art forms through innovative exhibitions and performances.
We are grateful that"Shore Thing" was screened at this year's festival. It was an honor to have the world premiere there! The entire staff of the festival moderated everything excellently. Rob Leddy's genuinity was felt by everyone.
