CONFRONTACION (which means Confrontation in English) is a Hardcore band formed in Nov 2006, in San Jose, capital city of Costa Rica (Central America). Besides Costa Rica, during these last 3 years we've played shows in countries like Guatemala, El Salvador, Nicaragua and Panama.
Even though most of the members of the band are Straight Edge, Confrontacion is NOT a Straight Edge band; besides that, the band is NOT related to any kind of religion or specific ideology, we just play HARDCORE.
Our first Ep was recorded at Audioarte Studios (San José, Costa Rica) and released on Sept 2007th. Right now, we are working on the recording and post production of our first full length called "UNCERTAINTY", which will be released early 2010, with guest vocals from Grave Maker. It's being recorded and mixed by sound engineer Marcos Monnerat
CONFRONTACION has shared stage with bands like Bane, Comeback Kid, Agnostic Front, Grave Maker, Bouncing Souls, Haste the Day, Still Remains, Gwen Stacy, Pulley, Trample, Gator Bait, Five Victims Four Graves, What Life Is, Signs of Hope, Unrestrained, Fuerza de Lucha, Soul Control and Final Fight
CONFRONTACION es una banda Hardcore formada en Noviembre de 2006, en San José, capital de Costa Rica (Centroamérica). Durante estos últimos 3 años, aparte de Costa Rica hemos tocado en países como Guatemala, El Salvador, Nicaragua y Panama.
Pese a que la mayoría de los miembros de la banda son Straight Edge, Confrontacion NO es una banda Edge; además, la banda NO está relacionada con ninguna clase de religión o ideología, solamente tocamos HARDCORE
El primer Ep de la banda fue grabado en el 2007 en el estudio Audioarte (San José, Costa Rica) y fue lanzado en Septiembre de ese año. Actualmente nos encontramos trabajando en la grabación y post producción de nuestro primer full length titulado "UNCERTAINTY", que será lanzado a inicios del 2010 y que contará con colaboración del vocalista de la banda canadiense Grave Maker. El mismo está siendo grabado y mezclado por el ingeniero Marcos Monnerat.
