There will be 3 days of musical performances, speaker panels, and parties. Musicians from all over the world and from all genres will showcase their talents in front of influential members from the entertainment industry.
The panels are designed to help participants gain knowledge about the many facets of the music business and will include representatives from major and independent record labels as well as music critics, publishers, marketing specialists, publicists managers and entertainment attorneys.
Industry and Artists get complimentary passes to all events. The Festival is designed to help artists grow both personally and professionally. The Festival is very affordable and prides itself on developing new artists honesty with integrity.
Accreditation
Music press and industry can get all-access VIP passes by emailing a request and credentials to Lrovero51@aol.com. Press kits must include bios and/or websites so that we can add your name and company to our website as a confirmed Featured Guest.
About CIMF
Connexion International Music Festival (CIMF) was founded in 2003 by Leslie Rovero. Rovero attended several festivals with artists that she managed only to discover that the organizers paid more attention to making money than to artist development. Soon after, the CIMF became a reality. Last years inaugural festival in Jacksonville, Florida featured more than 100 artists and industry representatives from all over the world. CIMF was so successful that we were approached by several different sponsors in different cities all offering to host this years festival. But our focus has always been on the artists and the overwhelming feedback that we received was for two annual festivals. CIMF East in Florida and CIMF West in Las Vegas.
While we may have moved west, we still have the same goals. The festival provides a platform to discover and develop new talent and promises to give exposure to a diverse range of promising performers. Artists from all over the world have the chance to showcase their talents and network with invited A&R executives, producers, publishers, music journalists, talent scouts, casting agents and filmmakers. Musical genres include Pop, Rock, Hip-Hop, R&B, Rap, Reggae, Latin, Folk, Country, Gospel and now DJs.
Registration is now open for Spring 2010 - A $25 Registration Fee is required to be considered. After paying your fee please follow up with an email with your name and your bands name and EPK to: LRovero51@aol.com. Your EPK will be reviewed by major industry staff and then processed for either denial or acceptance. If accepted we will contact you with further actions.
