ABOUT:

My name is Ian Marshall. I am an Independent Music Producer, Recording Engineer, Mixer. I record and mix all genre's of music.
I own a recording and music production facility in downtown Akron, Ohio called Magic Child Studios

I use this myspace page to connect with bands, artists, songwriters, producers, engineers, studios, photographers, web programmers, and other creative media entrepreneurs.

I am of the new breed of Producers currently emerging. My work is born into a world of cost constraints, and MP3's. If necessary I can produce, engineer, and mix entire records inside a computer. I can seamlessly move projects between my protools production environment, and various world class studios.
I pride myself on being able to work with whatever gear is available. Sonically I am only limited by the signal chain, and room available. Whether I am mixing in the box or on a console it is of the utmost importance to me that my tracks sound good on all playback mediums (speakers).
