MCC Alumni, this is a place to talk with other MCC'ers and get in touch with old friends. Also, feel free to visit the
MCC Alumni Association webpage.

The Minnesota Conservation Corps provides hands-on environmental stewardship and service-learning opportunities to youth and young adults while accomplishing priority cost-effective conservation, natural resource management projects and emergency response work. MCC has two programs: the Summer Youth Program and the Young Adult Program.

The MCC Summer Youth Program
The Summer Youth Program’s philosophy is to develop youth through natural resource work and educational and recreational activities. The summer program is an eight-week residential camp for male and female teenagers, ages 15-18. Summer corpsmembers work on various outdoor, conservation projects. It is unique in that it involves both hearing and non-hearing youth.

The MCC Young Adult Program
MCC Young Adult Program is a year-round, non-residential service and learning experience program for young adults 18 – 25 years old. Corpsmembers work together on crews to improve and conserve natural resources by completing high priority projects and field work through out the state. MCC Young Adult Crews may work on projects for the DNR, U.S. Forest Service, U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, and National Park Service.

MCC has such a huge network across the US. It's like there's a web of all the corps and MCC is known everywhere! It's pretty incredible how many associated people there are.
I love it!

I think one might need to remove Tom from the top "8." There seems to be many more likely candidates to take his place.

I miss being at MCC already. I can't stop talking about it here at home.
Check out my page for new pics from this summer of MCCness.

Eric Antonson is my hero.
so are Jessica, Robby, Alyson, Pete and Emma.

I'm so tired I can hardly type... but I can't sleep because I'm not used to it. Power naps... "hecks yeah."
I'm really going to miss MCC and I really want to come back next year.
This morning(/last night) was very surreal, and I hope to see the majority of the people I spent this summer with on here. Send me a message.

Fluberance for life.
