Konsole is techno producer and DJ from Russia. His real name is Andrey Lebedev, he was born in 1984 in Russia, Saint-Petersburg. Music: minimal, tech-house, deep-techno, ambient, dub-step,.. his favourite sound is a mix of minimal techno “vibes” with a deep atmospheric pads and textures, sometimes adding “groove” of house music or anything experiments of techno sound, like a clicks, glitch and buzz. The interest in electronic music started at the age of 16 - it was techno and electro. The names like a Jeff Mills, Robert Hood, Richie Hawtin and other famous producers and dj's have exerted much influence on a his sound. Soon, he had a first computer combined with a passion of writing and producing music, after long years of working with different styles of music he had finded his favourite sound and begin to experiment with a ambient, downtempo and dubstep, then he began to try himself as a DJ in the some nightclubs of Saint-Petersburg city. Konsole is frequently playing at Saint-Petersburg's clubs, like a Deep Sound, Red Club, Tunnel, 2th Floor, Griboedov club, BubbleBar, Ai and more, where he plays like a “live” and with a “dj-set”. At this moment Konsole has released some EP on the net-labels from a Germany, Canada, USA.., some of his tracks has included in a net and CD compilations, now he plans to release a couple of tracks on vinyl.
The 4th release on diaphan music comes as a VA with 4 strong trax, that are already played by a lot of national and international artists like Brothers Vibe, Anthony Collins, Nekes, Ray Okpara, Retrac from the Acid Casuals and so on, just to name some of them. On A1 Spiky makes his debut with “forest trees”: a minimal track that generates a very funky groove with its cleverly arranged horn sequences. “Dusty hands” on A2 is much deeper with its fat bass lines and some “housy” chords and vocals. The track is written/produced by Lee Fraged, the mastermind of the net-label “THIS SIDE MUSIC”. “Coowee” on B1 is written/ produced by Little Fritter. A young Australian artist who has already released some first cool tracks on Labels such as Affin and Catwash. Our comment on that amazing tune is: “damn driving House Music as its best” from the first to the last second. And last but not least “Metro” on B2, a minimal stomping track that really burns, produced by D-Cut. A very experienced artist who runs his own net-label “JACKSUM RECORDS”.
