To enrich the music scene with interesting young bands instead of flowing the market with any sound - that was the beginning of Consolidate Records. And until now nothing has changed.
Together with a befriended producer plus contacts taken out of the time beeing managment and booking agency, first steps had been absolved successfully. The highly reputed distribution "Rough Trade" cared for, that Consolidate - disks got into austrian and swiss stores- a professional base for bands out of the Conslidate-stock to realize their creativity and to let their phantasy come true. Creativity, phantasy and a jolting proportion of emotions- that is what distinguishes a Consolidate band.
The Labels.. crew works hard every day to enable their charges their way up to the top. The results support the facts: press feedbacks from all over the german alternative magazines, videoplays on MTV and VIVA, live presence at "Rock im Park", Rock am Ring" and at the "Southside Festival", Consolidate bands on tour with alternative heros like the Stereophonics, Weezer or Helmet.
