Music
Mostly, I only listen to music on other people's MySpace pages. In the car, I use the "radio," which transmits music through the "airwaves." It just works. It doesn't need my attention all the time, just keeps doing what it's doing! It's not high-maintenance. I don't have to keep selecting songs I already know, keeping my overall scope of knowledge narrow.
Movies
Just don't tell me you never saw Bladerunner or Brazil, diaper-boy. I've seen movies.
Television
My favorite show, after House and Bones, is the Red Green Show, it's Canadian, and probably 100 years old. ..
I am currently fascinated by male friendships. I like men, very much, but they are not like me.
I'm really bad at watching TV. If there was a "Television for Dummies" book it would be for me. Yeah, I need to read a book to learn to watch TV. The thing is, you have to keep sitting there to get the job done. I usually say, "You kids keep it up, and I'll check on you later." Sometimes I see a show I like, and I think maybe next week, this same time, I'll watch it again. Then I forget all about it. The people on TV never seem to hear MY comments; I hate that they act like I'm not there! One thing I hate: when you're watching a DVD with someone, and you leave the room, and that person pauses the DVD so when you come back, the show hasn't advanced one bit. Okay, I have to admit: I used to blame TV for ruining my family, but it was really my parents hiding behind TV.

Yes, salo is great for preparing Turkey, and I do make a few turkeys on Thanksgiving, just in case, but people really flock to my place for the Sheep Head and the Blood Dumplings and such which have become holiday favorites around here!! Oh, and yes sir-ee we is open on Thanksgiving, its one of our most profitable days, people not wanting to cook, and not makin' reservations anywhere else...they're forced to come here...you'd be surprised how many folks like that there are!!
